The main goal of BT- CBO is to improve the socio-economic standards of the marginalised/vulnerable communities domiciled in the counties of Kajiado, Makueni and Machakos through undertaking interventions aimed at alleviating extreme poverty.
Machakos and Kajiado counties suffer from acute water shortage which has impacted negatively on development initiatives as people spend long hours looking for this vital commodity.
Last donation 1w agoWe are increasing access to quality education opportunities for primary school children marginalized by cultural practices, conflict and poverty. The activity focuses on improving learning outcomes and implementing evidence-based school management reforms. We work closely with the schools to encourage effective learning through parental and community participation, promotion of local initiatives, and improved teaching and education management.
