Better Together is a Community Based Organization (BT- CBO) which was formed in 2019. However, it was formally registered under the State Ministry of Gender and Social Development vide certificate number 07433 in June 2022. BT- CBO operates in Kajiado and Machakos Counties in Kenya. The inhabitants of these two Counties are predominantly the marginalised/vulnerable communities.
We partner with donors, sponsors and government to improve the socio-economic standards of the two communities. We implement community demand-driven projects in education, women empowerment, food security and livelihoods, water and environmental protection.
The main goal of BT- CBO is to improve the socio-economic standards of the marginalised/vulnerable communities domiciled in the counties of Kajiado, Makueni and Machakos through undertaking interventions aimed at alleviating extreme poverty.
